Most single-garage roller shutter doors sit between £1,800 and £2,800 fully fitted including removal of your old door, motor, remote handsets and a UK manufacturer's warranty. Double doors are typically £2,800–£4,200. We quote a fixed price after a free home survey — no hidden extras for fitting, electrics or disposal.

Significantly. Roller doors lock at the base into the side guides and have no external handles to lever — so they pass Police Preferred Specification Secured by Design when fitted correctly. There are also no hinge points or panel gaps for a crowbar.

Yes — a standard 13A switched fused spur near the motor housing. If you don't have one we can arrange an NICEIC electrician for the install day, or work with your own. Power consumption is tiny (less than a kettle for a few seconds per operation).

Around 55–60 dB — about the same as a fridge. Noticeably quieter than older chain-driven up-and-over doors, and the roller curtain rolls onto a fabric-lined drum which dampens vibration. You won't wake the kids on an early shift.

Almost always — roller doors fit inside the opening (between the brickwork) and reclaim around 100mm of height vs an up-and-over. We measure on survey and confirm before manufacture. Maximum width we routinely fit is 5.5m for a double garage.

Single door: one day, including removal of the old door, fitting the guides and curtain, wiring the motor and pairing the remotes. Double doors typically a day and a half. We take the old door away for recycling at no extra cost.

Yes — most of our doors can be specified with Somfy TaHoma or similar smart hub integration, so you can open and close from your phone, link to Alexa/Google Home, and check the door status remotely.
