Before we arrive
Have a rough idea of which rooms you are dressing and what bothers you about each window, glare, privacy, cold, a view you want to keep. Those complaints drive the specification more than any style preference.
If you have existing shutters or blinds you want matched, leave them in place and mention it when booking.
On the visit
We measure every opening at multiple points, record the reveal depth, out-of-square, ironmongery and anything in the way. Then we go through samples in the room, in the actual light, and talk through configurations for each window.
We will tell you where a cheaper option is the right answer. Not every window needs shutters, and saying so is quicker than arguing about it later.
Afterwards
You get a written quote itemised by window, so you can see what each one costs and adjust the scope. There is no expiring discount and nobody chasing you.
If you go ahead, that same survey becomes the manufacturing specification, which is why the fit is our responsibility rather than a debate about measurements.

We can give indicative ranges over the phone, but any accurate figure needs the real dimensions and configuration, which is what the survey is for.
