Plenty of people do the front of the house first and the rest later. Whether the new panels sit comfortably beside the old ones comes down to three things: louvre width, frame profile and colour. Get those right and nobody notices the gap in years.

Louvre width is the giveaway
Louvre sizes vary between systems, and the eye picks up the difference immediately when two windows are visible from the same seat. Measure an existing blade before assuming; a photo with a tape held against the louvre tells us most of what we need.
Different rooms with no shared sightline are more forgiving, an upstairs bedroom does not have to match a front bay exactly.
Frame profile and hardware
L-frames, Z-frames and bead-fit frames all sit differently in a reveal. Matching the profile keeps the shadow line consistent from window to window. Hinge style and tilt-rod arrangement, centre rod or hidden, are the other details people notice once they are pointed out.
Colour and ageing
A white fitted five years ago is not the white on a fresh sample card. Paint finishes settle and sunlight shifts them slightly. We compare against the actual panel, in the room, in daylight rather than against a code.
Where the difference would show side by side in the same window, the honest recommendation is sometimes to redo the pair rather than accept a visible join.
When the original supplier has gone
This is common with imported installations. We cannot order the original system, but we can match louvre size, frame type and colour closely enough that new work reads as part of the same scheme. What we will not do is promise an invisible match we cannot deliver, we will show you a sample against your existing panel first.

Can you match shutters fitted by another company?
We can usually match louvre width, frame profile and colour closely. An exact system match is only possible if the original manufacturer is one we can source, which with imported installations often is not the case.
Will new white panels look brighter than my old ones?
Slightly, yes, paint settles over time. In separate rooms it is unnoticeable. Within the same window we would recommend doing both sides.
Should I do the whole house at once?
It guarantees consistency and usually costs less per window than several separate visits, but doing it room by room is perfectly workable if we record the specification for next time.
Do you keep a record of what was fitted?
Yes. For our own installations we keep the specification so a later addition matches without guesswork.
